Plateau Lawmaker surprises daughter with SUV after graduation from secondary school

Yusuf Gagdi, a member of the House of Representatives from Plateau State, has celebrated his daughter Aisha’s who just graduated from Lead British International School Abuja.

Also for Aisha’s outstanding performance in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME), the excited father gifted her a new Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

Gagdi’s surprise gift was unveiled during Aisha’s graduation ceremony and shared with the public on Instagram.

In his post, Yusuf Gagdi expressed his pride, stating, “Today, I attended my amazing daughter’s graduation ceremony. Watching you, my dear daughter, walk across that stage fills my heart with immense pride and love. I celebrate your achievements and the strength you’ve shown. Here’s to a future filled with endless possibilities and happiness. Congratulations, my shining star!”

The next day, Gagdi confirmed the gift through an Instagram post by #northern_trending_, which read, “To celebrate her graduation and great performance in JAMB, her father surprised her with a gift of a car.”

The lawmaker’s gesture has elicited mixed reactions on social media. While some praised his generosity and dedication to his daughter’s education, others criticized the lavish gift amidst Nigeria’s economic challenges.
