The National President, Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA), Architect Rakiya Abubakar, has inspired pupils of Model Junior Secondary School, Asokoro, to pursue knowledge with passion and dedication.

Abubakar stressed that education is the key to unlocking their potential and overcoming life’s challenges.

While presenting school fees cheques and educational materials, including school bags, books, and pens, Abubakar reminded the pupils that education teaches them how to think, solve problems, and create new opportunities.

According to her, it teaches you how to think, solve problems, and create new opportunities not just for yourself, but for your families, your communities, and even your country.

Abubakar encouraged the pupils to believe in themselves, work hard, and strive for excellence.

She said, “Never let anyone tell you that you cannot succeed. You are strong, capable, and full of potential. Believe in yourself, work hard, and keep pushing forward. The future belongs to those who learn, grow, and dare to make a difference”.

The outreach program was part of NAFOWA’s celebration of World Education Day, marked annually on January 24.

Abubakar noted that education is the foundation for achieving dreams and making a positive impact in the world.

“Education is your key to a bright future. It is the foundation that will help you achieve your dreams, whether you want to be doctors, engineers, architects, teachers, entrepreneurs, or even leaders who change the world,” she said.

Abubakar concluded by urging the pupils to stay curious, ask questions, and never stop learning. “With knowledge, you can break barriers, shatter ceilings, and go beyond what anyone thinks impossible,” she said, emphasizing the transformative power of education.
