Enugu State has embraced the opportunity to host the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) 2025 Annual Conference, following its relocation from Port Harcourt.
Executive Chairman of Enugu State Tourist Board, Dame Rita Mbah, gave the assurance while reacting to the development.

The Bar Association cancelled the Port Harcourt meet over issues of the constitutionality or otherwise of drafting a retired military officer to rule Rivers State.
“While we express sincere sympathy to our sister city for this unexpected change, we are confident that Enugu will deliver a world-class experience to the NBA and its esteemed members.”
Dame Rita said the decision of the NBA underscores Enugu’s rising profile as a premier destination for both business and leisure.
“Under the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Mbah, Enugu State has undergone significant transformation.
“From the revitalization of our hospitality sector—with new hotels, resorts, and recreational centers springing up—to the ongoing enhancement of transportation infrastructure, including road networks, an expanding airport, and smart city initiatives, Enugu is fast becoming a hub for national and international events.
“Hosting the NBA Annual Conference is a monumental win for both the Coal City and our revered judiciary.”
She described the NBA annual conference as the largest annual gathering of professionals in Nigeria.
“That we now have the infrastructure to host it, and that it’s coming to us in 2025, is nothing short of transformational. Every day, we keep celebrating the vision and intentionality of Governor Peter Mbah, who saw tomorrow and brought it forward.”
The conference will be held at the brand new International Conference Centre, which the State Government has completed and commissioned.
