Prince Interior and Furnishing Company Ltd is an indigenous company that is into serious manufacturing and has over 100 Nigerians under its employment and training.

He said: “As we commemorate Workers’ Day 2025, I extend heartfelt greetings to our esteemed workers and the entire nation. As a proud employer of labor and a representative of the manufacturing sector, I offer the following recommendations to empower our economy and create more employment opportunities:

‘Let the FG to implement policies that encourage employers to hire more workers. Tax incentives, subsidies, and other forms of support can go a long way in boosting employment rates. We recommend a ban on importing goods that Nigerian manufacturers can produce locally. This will not only protect our industries but also create more jobs for our citizens. The government should prioritize purchasing locally manufactured goods for public office use. This will stimulate demand, boost local industries, and create a ripple effect in the economy.”

He continued: “We call on lawmakers to enact legislation that supports manufacturers. Policies that reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks and offer tax breaks will enable us to employ more workers and contribute to the nation’s economic growth. We urge the government to reduce commercial bank interest rates and make the Bank of Industry (BoI) more accessible to industrialists. Affordable financing will enable manufacturers to sustain their businesses, pay workers, and expand their operations.”

The industrialist cum manufacturer, Evg. Egwuekwe added: ‘We recommend streamlining banking processes and removing bottlenecks that hinder access to funds. This will empower manufacturers to innovate, grow, and create more jobs. By implementing these recommendations, we believe the private sector will be better positioned to drive economic growth, create employment opportunities, and contribute to Nigeria’s development.”

“Thank you, and may Workers’ Day 2025 inspire a renewed commitment to the well-being of our workers and the growth of our economy.”
