As the Eid-el-Kabir celebration approaches, Alhaji Muhammadu Salifu Abdullahi, President of the Abuja Frozen Fish/Food Sellers Association (AFFOSA), Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has issued a heartfelt message to members and Nigerians at large. In his Sallah message, Abdullahi emphasized the importance of celebrating with the will and involvement of God, while also being mindful of the economic realities facing many Nigerians.

Addressing journalists in his office within the week, Abdullahi urged members to celebrate Sallah by avoiding excessive spending and price hikes that could make their goods unaffordable to customers. While encouraging members to promote unity and friendliness by associating with other religious bodies and abiding by the law, he reiteratedly reminded members to be considerate of their customers’ economic challenges and to strive to maintain affordable prices for their goods.

“As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, let us do so with the will and involvement of God. Let us be moderate in our celebration, so that we can start all over again after the celebration with renewed vigor and purpose. Let us abide by the law and use it to promote friendliness, unity, and peaceful coexistence with other religious bodies and the general public. By doing so, we can build a more harmonious and prosperous community for all,” Alhaji Muhammadu Salifu Abdulahi advised.

However, Abdullahi’s message serves as a reminder to AFFOSA members and Nigerians to prioritize unity, moderation, and economic responsibility during the Sallah celebration. By embracing these values, Nigerians can build a more resilient and compassionate society that benefits everyone.
