PTAD Disburses Over ₦5bn Pension Arrears To 90,689 DBS Pensioners

The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has finalized the disbursement of Five Billion, One Hundred and Nineteen Million, Three Hundred and Twenty-Eight Thousand Naira Only (₦5,119,328,000) to 90,689 pensioners across the four pension departments in the country.

 

A recent statement released by the Directorate revealed that this is in keeping with its assurance to clear outstanding pension liabilities as funds are disbursed by the Federal Government while reaffirming its continued dedication and unwavering commitment to pensioners welfare.

 

The breakdown of the payment is as follows: Department of CIPPD and 8,626 pensioners was paid N276,032,000.00 for one month. Department of PPD with 9,681 pensioners paid N619,584,000.00 for two months.

 

Also, Department of CSPD with 12,773 pensioners was paid N408,736,000.00 for one month. Department of PAPD with 59,609 pensioners paid 3,814,976,000.00 naira for two months, making total of ₦5,119,328,000.00.

 

The Directorate stated further that the payment reaffirms the administration’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that pensioners receive their due entitlements in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
