Far ahead of the 2027 general elections in Nigeria, the current serving political leaders elected in 2023 under the platform of Labour Party in Anambra State may face the danger of loosing election in 2027 as a mass movement group behind the force of Labour Party known as Oga Ndi Oga Foundation is threatening to withdraw their support from Labour Party following alleged use and dump attitude.

The members of the Foundation are furiously alleging that current political leaders elected under the platform of Labour Party in 2023 to serve in the National Assembly and in the State House of Assembly have used, dumped and forgotten both Oga Ndi Oga Foundation and Labour Party after winning election with the Labour Party groomed by the Foundation.

The Foundation at a general meeting held in Awka the Anambra State capital threatened that they won’t support the current serving political leaders elected under the platform of Labour Party in Anambra State in 2027 if they do not retrace their steps to recognize the effort of the Foundation in voting massively for Labour Party in 2023 adding that support for 2027 has to be properly negotiated to avoid use and dump attitude.

Explaining the details of their stand to journalists, the Founder/CEO of the Foundation High Chief Goodwin Agbasimelo echoed that Oga Ndi Oga as a Movement picked up the Labour Party and made it a force to reckon with massive voting strength in Anambra State, consequently former Governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi came on board of the Labour Party along with others.

Agbasimelo stated that Labour Party became a turning point for Obi and others who won election into National Assembly and State House of Assembly under the platform of the party but since then, they have not done anything for the Foundation in appreciation and that’s why the Foundation decided to speak up and make their position clear ahead of 2027

The High Chief attributed the sacking of Julius Abure by the Court to the effect of law of karma because according to him Abure came alive both as a politician and as the National Chairman of Labour Party courtesy of Oga Ndi Oga Movement in Anambra State but Abure never deemed it right enough to recognize the Foundation throughout his tenure as National Chairman of Labour Party.
