The 25th Abuja International Motor Fair is set to break new ground by moving into fully covered pavilions for the first time, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria’s premier automotive event.
Scheduled to take place from Tuesday, November 18 to Friday, November 21, 2025, at Eagle Square, Abuja, this edition aims to attract top fleet managers, state governments, and institutional buyers.
Themed “Driving the Future: Innovation, Commerce, and Mobility,” this landmark edition is strategically designed to draw a broad range of high-level decision-makers.
Invitations have been extended to Federal and State Ministries of Transport, Works, and Finance; all 774 Local Government Areas; key Parastatals and Agencies; leading fleet operators; and private high-net-worth buyers. In a transformative move, organisers have announced that the fair will be held under fully covered exhibition stands, ditching the traditional open-air setup.
This upgrade is intended to enhance visitor comfort, provide uninterrupted displays regardless of weather, and offer a world-class platform that reflects Nigeria’s leadership in the motor industry.
“For a quarter of a century, the Abuja Motor Fair has remained Nigeria’s premier automotive showcase. This year, we are elevating the experience to match the calibre of our audience,” said the Chief Organiser.
“Transitioning to a fully covered, climate-controlled environment responds directly to feedback from our exhibitors and visitors, delivering a more professional, comfortable, and secure setting for high-level business and showcasing the finest vehicles and technologies without weather interruptions.
“This shift to a covered venue highlights the Fair’s dedication to creating an ideal environment for significant commercial transactions.
“The event continues to be the preferred platform for government agencies evaluating and procuring official vehicles, as well as for fleet managers sourcing reliable vehicles in large volumes.
“The new covered arena is anticipated to boost exhibitor participation and sales, offering an unmatched opportunity for brands to engage directly with Nigeria’s most influential automotive buyers”.
High-Net-Worth Buyers and Institutional Visitors Expected
Organisers anticipate the presence of an exceptional range of visitors, including high-net-worth fleet managers and institutional buyers from both the public and private sectors.
Confirmed attendees include representatives from state governments, local government councils, federal and state ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), as well as corporate organisations, financial institutions, transport unions, and individual automobile enthusiasts.
The upgraded exhibition format will foster enhanced business-to-business and business-to-consumer interactions.
Buyers will have the opportunity to negotiate directly with manufacturers and distributors while enjoying interactive product demonstrations, live test drives, and exclusive fair-only discounts.
The fair will serve as a strategic hub for decision-makers, procurement officers, logistics specialists, and mobility solution providers to explore the latest models, technologies, and mobility solutions showcased by leading automakers and distributors.
Beyond the exhibits, the event will feature a National Automotive Policy Dialogue, bringing together policymakers, investors, and industry stakeholders to discuss prospects in vehicle assembly, electric mobility, and local content development.Other highlights include daily product presentations, interactive sessions with financial and insurance firms, and entertainment programs designed to create a vibrant, business-friendly atmosphere.
Event Highlights Include Dedicated B2B & Government Buyers’ Day:
A special day for productive meetings between exhibitors and key officials from government departments, agencies, and corporate fleet managers.
Unprecedented Exhibitor Showcase: Leading local and international automotive brands will display their latest models—sedans, SUVs, trucks, buses, and cutting-edge electric vehicles—all within the spacious, well-appointed covered stands.
Public Procurement & Fleet Management Forum: An exclusive forum addressing the specific vehicle procurement needs and challenges of both public and private sectors.
An Event for Everyone
While primarily focused on industry professionals and institutional buyers, the Abuja Motor Fair remains open to the general public, giving car enthusiasts and families the chance to experience the latest vehicles firsthand. Visitors will benefit from auto-financing options, service offers, and giveaways sponsored by participating brands.
For 25 years, the Abuja International Motor Fair has been Nigeria’s most influential automotive marketplace, connecting local and international manufacturers, distributors, investors, and consumers.
The event continues to play a crucial role in promoting automotive trade, technology transfer, and sector development across West Africa.
“We are leveraging the advantages of a covered environment to elevate the standards of the fair, ensuring our exhibitors and visitors enjoy the best comfort, visibility, and value,” the organisers stated, adding “This year’s edition will not just showcase vehicles—it will celebrate mobility, innovation, and commerce.”
