The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Mary Alile, has called on women across the country to unite and support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Alile made the call on Monday in Abuja while receiving members of Asiwaju Loyalist Ladies (ALL), a faith-based women group.

She said the Tinubu administration had introduced policies and programmes that directly impacted women, youths and vulnerable groups, including student loans, grants and empowerment initiatives.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is working. Programmes that benefit women, students and vulnerable groups are already making impact across the country.

“If someone says they do not see what the administration is doing, take time to educate such a person. We must support a government that is delivering on its promises,” she said.

Alile urged women to remain united and actively participate in politics, adding that prayer and mobilisation would play critical roles ahead of future elections.

“We need every woman on board. We must continue to pray, mobilise and ensure that women take their rightful place in governance and nation-building,” she said.

Earlier, the Organising Secretary of Tinubu Torchbearers (TTB), Princess Gloria Akobundu, said the group was established to mobilise women and youths in support of good governance and national development.

Akobundu said the organisation had structures across the 774 local government areas of the country to promote the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Tinubu Torchbearers is committed to mobilising Nigerians, especially women and youths, for inclusive political participation and national development.
“We are building strategic partnerships with progressive groups to ensure that the message of Renewed Hope reaches every community and household in Nigeria,” she said.

She commended the collaboration between TTB and Asiwaju Loyalist Ladies, saying it was a step towards strengthening women’s participation in politics.
Also speaking, the Founder and President of Asiwaju Loyalist Ladies, Mrs Abiola Towobola, said the group was committed to mobilising women to participate actively in governance and civic responsibilities.

Towobola said the organisation sought to encourage professional women and entrepreneurs who had previously stayed away from politics to become more involved in the democratic process.
“For many years, many accomplished women focused on their careers and businesses without participating actively in politics. We are changing that narrative.

“Our mission is to mobilise women to pray, participate, vote responsibly and contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

“Our slogan remains: ‘We pray, we vote and we win’,” she said.
She also commended APC women leaders and the First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, for promoting women’s inclusion and empowerment across the country.
The highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Asuwaju Loyalist Ladies and the APC National Women Leader.
