2027: Ex-Enugu Governor’s Aide Urges Eligible Voters Without PVCs to Register

A former Special Adviser (SPA) to Governor of Enugu State during the immediate past administration, Hon Kentus Eze has called on eligible voters all over the country who are yet to obtain the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to take advantage of the two weeks extension of continue voter registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to go and register to obtain the PVC.

Hon Eze who spoke on the backdrop of INEC announcement of the two weeks extension when officials of a Youth based group known as Youth Rendezvous for Greater Nigeria paid him a courtesy visit described the extension as a welcome development which offers those who are not in possession of PVC to go and obtain it at the nearest INEC registration unit close to them.

The former SPAD who is a chieftain of National Democratic Congress (NDC) said that the extension is a good news for those in the region of eighteen years and above who are yet to obtain the PVC to go and get it noting that the extension goes along way to speak volume of the preparation of INEC for the 2027 general generation.

He added “That’s a good news for the electorates who are yearning for change but not in possession of PVC. So I am using this opportunity to lend to voice in calling all eligible voters all over Enugu State in particular and the country in general who do not have PVC to endeavor to leverage on the two weeks extension to go out there and get their PVC so that they can participate in voting come 2027 elections

He charged the Youth group to use their platform to mobilize their counterpart to go and get PVC and be ready to participate in 2027 elections as that’s the only means to bring about change in Nigeria. He called on INEC Chaiman Professor Josh Amupitan to ensure a hitch free registration exercise by putting all necessary equipments in place to make sure that every eligible voters seeking to register and obtain PVC achieve their aim of being in possession of PVC.

Earlier on, the leader of the Youth Rendezvous Comrade Theo Rays Ejikeme said the visit was to appreciate Hon Eze’s contributions for the development and progress of the youth through job creation and philanthropy noting that the former SPA has attained the height of a model to the Youth with track record of achievements both in private and public service.
