The South East chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended the Federal Commissioner representing Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Hon. Peter Ogbonna Eze, for what it described as his effective representation, commitment to inclusive governance and contributions to national development.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the APC National Vice Chairman (South East), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, under the party’s “Spotlight on Exceptional Young Progressives” initiative, a platform created to recognise young leaders whose service and achievements the party says are strengthening democratic governance.
According to Arodiogbu, Eze has emerged as one of the South East’s progressive leaders through his commitment to fairness, professionalism, accountability and national unity.
He said the FCC commissioner has continued to promote the principles of equitable representation while contributing to institutional development in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
The APC chieftain also credited Eze with promoting constructive stakeholder engagement, encouraging youth participation in governance and supporting initiatives aimed at providing equal opportunities for Nigerians regardless of ethnic, religious or regional affiliations.
Arodiogbu said the commissioner’s commitment to strengthening public institutions and advancing inclusive governance reflects the values of the ruling party.
He added that beyond his constitutional responsibilities at the Federal Character Commission, Eze has continued to inspire young Nigerians by demonstrating that public office should serve as a platform for service, nation-building and creating opportunities for others.
The APC leader further acknowledged what he described as Eze’s contributions to grassroots development, youth empowerment and efforts to promote economic diplomacy through initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s international partnerships.
“The South East APC is proud to identify with Hon. Peter Ogbonna Eze. His integrity, competence, patriotism and commitment to service exemplify the quality of leadership our nation requires.
His achievements reaffirm our confidence in the capacity of young progressive leaders to drive sustainable development and strengthen national cohesion,” Arodiogbu said.
The South East APC reaffirmed its commitment to recognising young progressive leaders whose vision, character and dedication, according to the party, continue to promote good governance, inspire future leaders and contribute to building a stronger, more united and prosperous Nigeria.
