Tinubu Forwards 28 Ministerial Nominees To Senate

The President, President Bola Tinubu on Thursday forwarded a 28 man list of Ministerial nominees to the Senate for consideration.

Reading the President’s letter, the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio urged for an expeditious consideration of the nominees.

He also disclosed that more nominees were expected from the executive, adding that Tinubu’s letter was in line with Section 147 (2) of the 1999 constitution as amended.

The disclosure of the list was preceded by a point of order raised by the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, to allow the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, access into the Red Chamber to formally present the document
