China to Float independent Solar Company in Kebbi

Chinese government,has said that it has concluded plans to site an independent solar power electricity company in Nigeria’s Kebbi state.

Mr Mike Bako the COE of Fadel international holdings a Chinese company disclosed this in Birnin Kebbi when he paid a courtesy visit to the governor of Kebbi state ,Dr Nasir Idris.

According to him, the choice of Kebbi state is because lithium is the major component China use to generate solar electricity which is in abundance in the state hence the reason to join Kebbi in the states that would benefit from the solar power Company project “therefore we have agreed to build an independent solar power Company in Kebbi state, Chinese government has already given the approval and would fund it hundred percent he said.

Responding, the Kebbi state governor, Dr Idris accepted the offer from the company saying the state is battling unstable power supply therefore the company is welcome in the state and pledged to provide enabling environment for the Company including other supports they may require” we need electricity in Kebbi at least for petty businesses in the state to thrive and other things that requires power to do.”
