The London Academy Business School has announced the first-ever visit of the National Universities Commission (NUC), to the University of Sunderland in the UK.
This is part of the final steps to the Transnational Education Accreditation (TNE) of the two organisations.
The Dean and Chief Executive Officer, London Academy Business School, Dr Larry Jones-Esan, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Sunday.
Jones-Esan reiterated the school’s unwavering commitment to providing quality education with an affordable pricing policy.
According to him, they await the final documents and response to visit the University of Sunderland and London Academy Business School, for further scrutiny,
He said the visit marked a significant moment in reshaping the educational landscape, emphasising the importance of quality education and fair pricing in transnational partnerships.
He expressed gratitude to the NUC for the guidance and feedback throughout the accreditation process, while looking forward to the positive impact of the collaboration on the education community.
Jones-Esan also quoted the Acting Executive Secretary of NUC, Chris Maiyaki, to have emphasised the NUC’s commitment to achieving parity in the relationship between the institutions.
Maiyaki highlighted the importance of ensuring that the quality of curriculum delivery was consistent across all education partners, and that pricing models were fair and comparable with both private and public universities.
He said the University of Sunderland demonstrated meticulous preparation for the visit, showcasing its dedication to meeting the standards set by the NUC.
Maiyaki said the NUC team were pleased with the University’s commitment to excellence and the collaborative efforts with London Academy Business School. (NAN)
