By Ekuson Nw’Ogbunka, Abuja

The lawmaker representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, visited the Etsu Kwali, Alhaji (Dr.) Ayedo Luka Nizassan III, in his palace. The visit aimed to strengthening ties between the legislative office and the traditional institution, toward promoting the welfare and development of the Federal Capital Territory.

In a press release from Obika Media Team, the meeting covered several key areas, including, documenting and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the FCT, particularly the Kwali people, modernizing farming practices, providing improved inputs, and facilitating access to larger markets, enhancing educational infrastructure, scholarship opportunities, and vocational training for the youth, as well as creating sustainable employment opportunities, and sustaining empowerment programs and mutual collaboration between the legislative office and the traditional institution.

Hon. Obika emphasized his commitment to inclusive and consultative representation, while the Etsu Kwali pledged the traditional institution’s support and counsel towards the success of the lawmaker’s people-centric legislative agenda.

The visit concluded with a shared resolve to maintain an open channel of dialogue and a strong partnership dedicated to the peace, unity, and accelerated development of AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency and the FCT at large.
