Onitsha based Man of God and General Overseer of Bible Base Miracle Assembly a.k.a Freedom City, Rev Jerry Nwachukwu has lent his voice on the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State in favour of the incumbent Governor of the State Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo by saying that Soludo’s bid for a second term in office is well worth it because he has done marvellously well.

Speaking to our reporter following the emergence of Governor Soludo as the candidate of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) for the governorship election, Rev Nwachukwu stated with facts that Soludo has done well enough in virtually all the major sectors of governance including security, road infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, health care, environmental sanitation and traffic control among others, adding that attempt to change Soludo amount to attempt to change a winning team.

According to him “as far as governance is concerned, Anambra is winning with Soludo, Anambra is comfortable with Soludo and I don’t see the need for any change in the government house. Besides if you look at the election from all angles the odds favour Soludo because he has four years remaining for Anambra South Senatorial District, an attempt to change Soludo with a fresh person from Anambra South might not sell because a fresh person will like to go for eight years against the zoning arrangement

“What I am saying is that whichever way you look at it, Soludo is favoured to coast home to victory. First is that reelecting Soludo means consolidation of all the good works he is doing in security, road construction, education, health, environment, traffic and youth empowerment among others. Second is that reelecting Soludo to finish up the turn of Anambra South in four year will further strengthen the zoning formula in the State

The Man of God popularly known for staging mega city crusade attributed the good governance in Anambra under Soludo to consistent prayer by the Church adding that the present administration not only recognises Anambra as a Christian State but also working with the fear of God and that is why the administration is living up to the expectations. While calling on the political gladiators to shun violent during campaign and election proper, he assured that the Freedom City will continue to serve as a rallying point for prayer for peace, security and welfare of the people.
