*Indicates Interest to run for Chairmanship of Ogbaru LGA

*Urges Soludo to be neutral, avoid denting his reputation

*Urges Soludo, Njoku to agree to a harmonized list of candidates for the LG election in the interest of APGA.

By Toby Chuks

A Chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Zeribe Ezeanuna has called on Elders in Anambra State to convene Imeobi meeting to wade into the crisis of leadership bedeviling APGA which has continued to linger even with the supreme Court judgement.

Ezeanuna who spoke to journalists shortly after he picked Expression of interests form to contest the Chairmanship seat of Ogbaru Local Government Area said that the intervention of Elders has become necessary at this point as the Elders are in a better position to advice those playing or acting or moving wrongly to retrace their steps and stop washing APGA dirty linings in the public.

He explained that going by the fact that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has duly recognized Edozie Njoku as National Chairman of APGA through Supreme Court judgement Sly Ezeokenwa is acting wrongly and deceiving unsuspecting rank and file members of APGA.

Therefore the Elders should as a matter of urgency intervene to advice the GOVERNOR to recognize Chief Edozie Njoku in line with the supreme Court judgement and INEC interpretation of the said supreme Court judgement.

Lamenting that we formed APGA to provide a national political voice and a pathway to the center for Ndi Igbo. But the party was hijacked, rendering the hopes and vision of millions of Ndi Igbo unattainable. The political dream of SE was jettisoned in favor of personal interests of a few. Chief Edozie Njoku is out to restore that original vision and cave out a new path way to the center. I believe that Chief Edozie Njoku and the governor share he same passion for the political emancipation of our people. Let us change the narrative for Ndi Igbo and the black race.

The also called on the Governor of Anambra State Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo to recognize Njoku as National Chairman Chief Edozie Njoku in line with the system, not to waste a lot of capital on a futile effort to build a political structure from himself because those he is fighting for will surely disappoint him if NIGERIA political antecedents are anything to go by.

If husband and wife are always fighting it does not stop them from producing children. As such while the process of peaceful resolution is going, I am urging both sides to come up with harmonized list of candidates for the September 2024 LGA election in Anambra State.

The governor H.E. remains the best governor to preside over the affairs of this great state and nothing should be allowed to stand against his second term bid,

The governor Is a highly respected personality who is performing wonderfully as the sitting governor and deserve a second term.
