Lateef Atoyebi Bamidele otherwise known as BAMBAM Foundation, a subsidiary of Prosocial Care for Stranded NGO, had released its Annual Report for 2023, showcasing impactful initiatives and transformative outreach.
According to a statement by Isiak Kamaldeen Atanda, the Communications Officer, in 2023, BAMBAM Foundation emerged as a beacon of hope, reaching out to widows, the sick, elderly, and vulnerable individuals across communities.
The report indicates that key achievements include yuletide rice distribution among others: “Provided 70 bags of rice to 700 widows and elderly in Apapa and Apapa Iganmu communities during the festive season.
“Unconditional Cash Transfers: Initiated monthly N10,000 support to 200 widows, offering financial stability.
“Support for Small Scale Businesses: Empowered 500+ elderly with N20,000 each, fostering economic growth.
“Debt Resolution Assistance: Actively aided individuals in settling debt disputes for a fresh start.
“Monthly Feeding Initiative: Consistently supported 300+ widows and vulnerable individuals since June 2021.
“Jamb Empowerment: Collaborated with educational institutions to empower 450 students with JAMB slots and sponsored lessons.
“Out of School Child Empowerment Funds: Paid school fees for over 3,500 out-of-school children, ensuring access to education.
“Educational Support: Contributed educational materials worth 10 million Naira to schools in the southwest.
“Christmas Rice Distribution: Distributed 100 bags of rice to leaders and elders in Apapa Federal Constituency.
“Inmate Empowerment: Facilitated the release of 77 inmates from Zone 2, Alagbon HQ, and Ikoyi Prison, providing monthly supplies.
“Ikoyi Prison Renovation and Light Up: Donated 7 million Naira worth of stationery and air conditioner, along with 10 streetlights.
“Cash Distribution in Kwara State: Extended reach to Kwara State, distributing N2,000 each to 300 widows in Asa and Ifelodun LGAs.
“Distribution of Food Stuff in Oyo State: Distributed 5kg rice, 5kg semolina, and N2,000 tokens to widows in Ibadan town.
“Political Support: Actively participated in supporting campaign efforts during the campaign era of President Bola Hamed Tinubu”.
Continuing the statement reads: “Lateef Atoyebi Bamidele (BAMBAM) Foundation envisions expanding educational initiatives, diversifying programs, and strengthening partnerships for sustainable impact going forward.
“As we delve into 2024, we are committed to fostering positive change through impactful initiatives in education, human development, humanitarian aids and political support”
