“My name is Mosopefoluwa Felix Bosede Esq.

Tell us, what’s happening here today?

Today is a glorious day, I’ve been called to the Bar today 7th of March 2024.

How do you feel?

I feel so excited and all glory be unto God.
I dedicate this to my mum, my late dad, and the big grandma here with me.

How would you describe the journey?

Sincerely, it was really tough and indeed tough, but today, here I am a qualified lawyer, and I am really happy. All efforts are crowned by God almighty, and I return all glory unto Him alone.

What’s the significant role played by your mum in all these as a widow?

Without my mum, I can’t be here today. I also can’t forget in a hurry the words of encouragement and support of my late dad, who died in the course of this endeavor, and the rest is history today.

As for my mum, the barton, the struggle, and the entire responsibility fell on her as a widow; I could not have done anything without her. She is more than a thousand mums to me.

What’s your message to the youths out there, particularly other colleagues who could not be here today?

My words to them are that, they should not lose hope, just do your best, be diligent in everything you do, and leave the rest in God’s hands. Thank you.

Meanwhile, the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, Prof. Isa Hayatu Chiroma, disclosed at the opening of the ceremony on Monday, that a total of 4,412 candidates were successful out of a total of 5,300 who sat for the examination, while 888 candidates failed the final bar examination conducted in November 2023 by the Nigerian Bar Association; out of a total of 5,300 who sat for the examination, among the successful candidates, 251 had first class.
