Hear him: “As we approach the joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration, I, Chief Muhammad Bawa Makama, wish to extend my warmest greetings to all my subjects and the Muslim community at large. Let us use this occasion to promote peaceful coexistence among ourselves and with our neighbors, fostering a sense of unity and harmony. Let us celebrate Sallah in line with the teachings of our Islamic religion, upholding the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness.

“Let us: prioritize peace and unity, building stronger relationships within our community; uphold the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness that our faith embodies; respect the rules and regulations that govern our society, contributing to the well-being of our community; and seek God’s guidance and blessings in all our endeavors, during and after Sallah.”

He continued: “As we celebrate this sacred occasion, let us reflect on the true meaning of Sallah and its significance in our lives. Let us strive to be better individuals, contributing to the betterment of our community and society at large. Let us use this opportunity to pray for peace, prosperity, and progress, not just for ourselves, but for our entire nation. May our Sallah celebration be a time for joy, reflection, and spiritual growth.”

“I wish you all a blessed and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration. May Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers, and grant us peace, happiness, and prosperity. Amin.
May our Sallah celebration be a time for spiritual growth, joy, and reflection. May we emerge from this occasion with renewed hope, peace, and determination to build a better future for ourselves and our community.”
