An ex candidate for Federal House of Representatives election in Igboeze North/Federal Constituency and former Special Adviser to former Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Hon Kentus Ezeh has bagged a prestigious chieftaincy title as Dike Eji-eje Mba (Strong Man) from the good people of Nkpamte Kingdom in Igboeze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The traditional ruler of Mkpamte, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Igwe Sampson Momoh who conferred the title on Hon Ezeh on behalf of the Kingdom during the 2025 Ofala festival held at the Igboeze North Local Government Pavilion in Ogrute described the former Special Adviser as a vibrant hard-working man with strong character and commitment towards the well being of humanity in general and Mkpamte kingdom in particular.

The Nkpamte King who is a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) explained that the good people of Nkpamte deemed it good enough to appreciate the contributions of Hon Ezeh to the development of Nkpamte with the chieftaincy title noting that the title was also issued with a view to encourage and motivate Ezeh to do much more in contributing to the development and progress of the kingdom hence he is now a member of Igwe’s cabinet chiefs in Nkpamte kingdom.

In his response, Hon Ezeh who was the candidate of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) for House of Representatives election in Igboeze North/Udenu Federal Constituency in 2023 general elections told the audience that he felt highly honoured with the title as it came as a surprise to him noting that he is grateful to the traditional ruler, his cabinet chiefs and the entire people of Nkpamte Kingdom for finding him worthy enough for the prestigious title.

“This title came as a surprise to me because I didn’t know that I will be considered worthy for it but here I am with such a prestigious title. On behalf of my lovely wife and my lovely children, I thank the traditional ruler, his cabinet chiefs and the entire people of Nkpamte Kingdom for presenting me with this title. I want to assure the good people of Nkpamte Kingdom that I will continue to contribute my widow’s mite for the development and progress of the kingdom” he added.
