Family announces homegoing celebration of Ap. Mother Titilayo Sonde

The family of the late supreme head of Sacred Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Joseph Olusegun Sonde has announced the burial ceremony of the beloved wife, mother, Gen. Reverend Apostle Mother, Rebecca Titilayo Sonde who died on February 18, 2025.

A statement signed by Sonde Oluwaseun,
Editor-in-chief Media Bypass News on behalf the family on Friday, disclosed that after consultations, April 24 and 25, 2025, have been fixed to give their beloved mother a befitting burial in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Titilayo Sonde (Nee Ilori) aged 81, a loving sister, mother, grandmother and a woman of remarkable virtues whose unwavering love touched many lives, passed after a brief illness.

Funeral arrangements as follows: Wake-Keep on Thursday 24, April at the Sacred Cherubim & Seraphim, Ebenezer Communion, Adjacent First Option Filling Station Oke-Ibukun Abiola way, Abeokuta Ogun State.

Burial Service on Friday 25, April at the Sacred Cheruhim & Seraphim Church, Ebenezer Communion Adjacent First Option Filling Station, Oke-Ibukun Abiola way, Abeokuta Ogun State.

Interment follows after Church Service while Reception will be held after the interment at Providence Event Center, by NNPC Abiola way Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Titilayo Sonde was also a respectful woman, whose legacy will forever linger in the hearts of her families, friends and love ones, she survived by brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren.

“A devoted Christian, lover of all and unique woman that used most of her life time to worship God and catered for the family. We prayed to God to give Mummy eternal rest”, the children paid tribute.
