Foundation Pays Fees, Donates Uniforms, Books To Indigent Pupils In Ondo

No fewer than 10 indigents pupils at Compassionate Children Home received schools fees, books and uniforms from a non Governmental organization, The Hands on Deck Foundation, on Monday at Oba-Ile, Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Making the presentations, the representative of the organisation, Kingsley Effiong said the the initiative aimed at supporting the education of the underprivileged children and empower them in order for them to achieve their visions and dreams.

Among the items presented to the children in the orphanage include exercise books, stationery, school uniforms, food items and other gifts items.

In the team of the Foundation that gave helping hand to the pupils are Toyosi Ayeleso, who lead the team, Chioma Ababalu, Kingsley Effiong, Mide Phillips, Olaleke Oni among others.

According to Kingsley Effiong, “We are honoured to have the opportunity to support the education of these wonderful children at the Compassionate Children Home.

“Education is a powerful tool for transformation and we believe that every child deserves access to quality learning resources and opportunities.

“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all those who have contributed to this meaningful cause and we remain dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable communities.

“The Hands on Deck Foundation remains committed to its mission of making a tangible difference in the lives of underprivileged individuals, particularly in the realm of education.

“Through collaborative efforts and community support, the Foundation will continue to inspire hope and create opportunities for a brighter future for the underprivileged.

Appreciating the Foundation on behalf of the Compassionate Children Home, Pastor Gabriel Ayeleso and Dr. (Mrs.) Folu Ayeleso described the gesture of the Foundation as life-impacting.

They said the assistance would go a long a way in the beneficiaries’ academic pursuits.
