The Village Head of Idu (Asugeri Idu), the host community of Idu Industrial Area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Chief Mohammed Bawa Makama, has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to his subjects, emphasizing the importance of unity, peace, and prudent celebration.

In a recent address to journalists at his palace, Chief Makama advised both Christians and non-Christians in his domain to continue promoting harmony and peaceful coexistence.

The traditional ruler encouraged his people to be mindful of their celebrations, ensuring they are done in a way that enables them to face the coming year effectively.

Chief Makama stressed the importance of putting God first in all dealings, reminding his subjects that fearing God and keeping His commands are the beginning of wisdom.
