Imo Election: Forum hails S’ Court’s judgment, tasks Uzodimma on unity, development

The Imo Governorship Candidates Forum 2023 has commended the Supreme Court’s judgment affirming Hope Uzodinma’s victory as Imo State governor.

The forum said this in a statement jointly signed by Dr Lawrence Okwara, Dr Iwuanyanwu Nnamdi, Ishiodu Uchechukeu and Edoziem Chibuike.

They commended the court’s judgment and tasked Uzodimma on development and unity of the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Supreme Court upheld the Imo state governorship election that produced Hope Uzodimma as the governor of the state for a second term.

Members of the forum said that Uzodimma’s resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the people of Imo state had truly paid off.

“On behalf of the Imo Governorship Candidates Forum 2023, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to you on your victory at the Supreme Court.

“Your resilience, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the people of Imo state have truly paid off.

“We are confident that you will continue to lead our state to greater heights.

“Your victory is not just a win for you, but a win for the people of Imo who have placed their trust and confidence in your leadership ,”they said.

They expressed optimism that with Uzodimma’s vision and determination the state would experience positive transformation and progress.

They that said the forum was excited to see the positive development that the governor was bringing to the state for the benefits of the people.

They reiterated the commitment of the forum and the people of the state to support the governor to achieve a successful tenure. (NAN)
