The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the date for the sales of form for the 2024/2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

According to the board, the registration for the UTME will commence on Monday, 15 January 2024 and end on Monday, 16 February 2024.

The board also said that the UTME will be conducted from Monday, April 22, 2024, to Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

Candidates who wish to sit for the examination are advised to visit the JAMB website (www.jamb.gov.ng) to download the registration template and syllabus system (IBASS).

The registration template contains the instructions and guidelines for the registration process, while the syllabus system provides the topics and objectives for each subject.

The board also said that candidates are required to create a profile on the JAMB service website ([e-facility]) before proceeding to any accredited CBT centre for registration.

The board warned that candidates should not register at any centre that is not accredited by JAMB, as such registration will not be valid.

The board also said that candidates should ensure that they have a valid email address and phone number before starting the registration process.

The board said that the mock-UTME, which is optional, will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024.

Candidates who wish to participate in the mock-UTME are expected to indicate their interest during the registration process.

The board said that the mock-UTME is meant to familiarize candidates with the CBT environment and test their readiness for the main examination.

The board also said that candidates should note that there are some changes in the UTME subjects and requirements for some courses and programmes in some tertiary institutions.

The board advised candidates to consult the JAMB brochure (PDF) to confirm the UTME subjects and requirements for their chosen courses and institutions.

The board said that candidates should also check the admission quota and cut-off marks for their preferred institutions before applying.

The board urged candidates to prepare well for the UTME and avoid any form of malpractice or irregularity.

The board said that it has deployed various measures to ensure a smooth and credible conduct of the examination.

The board also said that it will not hesitate to sanction any candidate or centre that violates the rules and regulations of the examination.

The board wished all candidates success in their UTME and assured them of its commitment to providing quality service and ensuring access to tertiary education in Nigeria.
