The member that represents AMAC/BWARI Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at the House Representatives has emphasized the importance of preserving cultural practices while fostering unity and development. He also spoke his commitment to advancing initiatives that will support local farmers and promote the socio-economic growth of the constituency under his watch.

In a press release from Amb Emenike Egbusunwa, his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity on Friday, Obika made the statements, while marking the New Year by participating in the annual Bwaya Yam Festival in Bwari Area Council.

The festival, a vibrant celebration of the agricultural heritage and cultural identity of the Bwaya community, featured traditional ceremonies, displays, and cultural performances.

Hon. Obika’s attendance underscores his commitment to embracing and supporting the rich traditions within his constituency.

He was joined by party key stakeholders from the FCT and Bwari Area Council. The delegation notably included Hon. Johnson Ayo, the 2027 Campaign Coordinator for Hon Joshua Chinedu Obika-MHR, for Bwari Area Council, alongside other dignitaries.

He however expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and extended his best wishes to the people of Bwaya for a prosperous and fruitful New Year.
