All roads led to Umunze, the headquarters of Orumba South Local Government Area, as mourners gathered to bid farewell to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Nnabuife, mother of Hon. Chinwe Nnabuife, member representing Orumba North/South Federal Constituency of Anambra State at the National Assembly.

The turnout was massive, with dignitaries and well-wishers from far and wide attending the funeral rite on Friday. Among them were His Excellency, Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, Senator Victor Umeh (Anambra Central), Senator Emma Nwachukwu (Anambra South), and the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa.

Other notable attendees included members of the House of Representatives, such as Hon. Maureen Chinwe Gwacham (Oyi/Ayamelum), Prof. Oby Lilian Orogbu (Awka North/South), Hon. Peter Aniekwe (Anambra East/West), and Hon. Dominic Okafor (Aguata).

The Secretary-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, His Excellency Emeka Sibeudu, was also present, along with other local government officials and traditional leaders.

The impressive turnout was a testament to the impactful life late Mrs. Nnabuife lived and the high esteem in which her family is held.

Governor Soludo of Anambra State, the Mayor of Orumba South, Hon. Shadrack Azubuike, and other dignitaries paid their respects to the deceased.

The National Chairman of APGA, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, and Chief Arinze Onwuzuruike (Aridon) also attended the funeral rite.

Senator Emma Nwachukwu, Anambra South Senator, and Hon. Emma Nwafor were among the many notable personalities present.

The President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Cross River State, Chief Ambrose Egwuonwu, and other traditional leaders also paid their respects.

The funeral rite was a befitting tribute to the late Mrs. Nnabuife, reflecting the love and respect of the community for her and her family.
