…accuses FG of Causing Hardship.
By Okorohohi Michael Warri
THE Leadership of the Niger Delta Youth Council Of Nigeria (NDYCN), Delta State chapter, has accused the Federal Government for the worsening economic situation of the country, which it said, was depriving Nigerians of their rights to dignity.
The group made their stance known through its State Chairman, Comrade Omoniyi U. Freedom, in a statement in Warri.
He said that the Federal Government deliberately launched an attack on the dignity of Nigerians by subjecting them to hardship through fuel subsidy removal, devaluation of the naira and the worsening economy.
The youth activist said that the skyrocketing cost of housing, food, healthcare, and education had led to increasing hardship in the country.
Omoniyi added that the current inflation has eroded the purchasing power of individuals with higher prices for goods and services.
He, therefore, advised the Federal Government to address the rising cost of living in the country, to tackle the hardship being faced by Nigerians.
