The Northern Senators Forum (NSF) has extended its deepest condolences to the family of Chief Audu Ogbeh, former Minister of Communications and Agriculture, who passed away at 78. The Forum praised Ogbeh’s selfless service, patriotism, and contributions to national development.

This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to media houses on Saturday by the Chairman of the Forum, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua on Saturday.

Ogbeh served as Minister of Communications in the 2nd Republic and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in the 4th Republic under Muhammadu Buhari.

He launched initiatives like Agricultural Inputs Mechanisation and Management Services (AIMMS) to enhance transparency and reduce fraud.

The former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ogbeh was a statesman with a vision for Nigerian farmers and a sense of duty to reform and better Nigeria.

The Northern Senators Forum acknowledged Ogbeh’s impactful life and legacy, describing him as a forthright and patriotic Nigerian who served with dedication and integrity.
