…Collation Officer Smuggled Out Of INEC Office
Mr. Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party is poised to sweep the polls in Anambra State as results from local councils trickle in.
So far, 14 out of the 21 local councils.
In the councils whose results have been declared, all the parties put together did not score up to 10 pet cent of Obi’s figures.
The councils are: Dunukofia, Ayamelum, Njikoka, Ekwusigo, Anocha and Awka South.
Others are: Anambra West, Awka North, Aguata, Nnewi South, Onitsha South, Onitsha North, Oyi, and Anambra East.

Meanwhile, the electoral officer that presented the results of Nnewi South Local government, Professor Chinwe Asikpo had to be taken home for safety because she raised the alarm of threat of her life.
Before she presented her result at the INEC headquarters, Awka, Asikpo was overheard dragging with the electoral officer that she won’t agree to toe certain line the EO was urging her to toe.
At the end of her presentation, Asikpo raised the alarm that some people from Nnewi South present at the presentation and may harm her if she was not protected.
At that point officers of INEC, shielded her and herded to Resident Electoral Officer’s office from where she was smuggled into a police van to be taken out of the premises.
