Old Boys ’92 Set Visit; A Day Of Inspiration And Support

It was a memorable day in the history of our great institution as the Old Boys ’92 Set St John’s Technical Secince and College Alor in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambar State Nigeria, after 33 years graduation paid a remarkable visit to the school. The reunion was not only a celebration of their journey since graduation, but also a demonstration of their continued love, loyalty and commitment to the growth of the school.

The delegation was led by the President, Comrade Celestine Chibuike Nwoye, expressed deep appreciation to the management for sustaining the academic standard and moral excellence the school has always been known for.

In his address to the students, he encouraged them to remain focused, disciplined and hardworking, assuring them that success is achievable through determination and respect for their teachers.

The visiting team also used the opportunity to interact with the staff and management, acknowledging their sacrifices and contributions in shaping future leaders.

He emphasized the importance of educational development and the need for collective effort in maintaining high standards.

The highlights of the visit was the presentation of 1,500 customized educational materials to the students, gifts to the staff and management.
They concluded the visit with a tour of ongoing school projects, an interactive session with the staff, and a group photograph capturing the spirit of reunion.
The Old Boys pledged continued support, leaving behind an atmosphere of hope and more collaboration .

Responding , the school Manager Rev. Fr. Dr. Francis Unegbe, assisted by Rev. Fr. Hillary Izuegbunam welcomed the delegation with deep appreciation, describing the visit as “spiritual” and uniquely uplifting.

He said that in his seven years of leadership, no alumni visit had matched the impact of the’92 set.

He said that the generous gesture brought great joy to the school and served as a clear testament to the Old Boys’ undying support.

The school management, expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the gifts will go a long way in improving the learning atmosphere and encouraging both teachers and learners.

The school looks forward to more fruitful collaborations with the Old Boys ’92 set and other alumni for the continuous progress of the institution.

The voter of thanks by the students senior prefect, master Johnchrysostoms Chinedu Anazodo thanked the Old Boys and shared other urgent needs of the institution.

The event ended with photographs and warm moments of reunion, leaving behind an atmosphere of happiness, encouragement and solidarity.
The school looks forward to more fruitful collaborations with the Old Boys ’92 set and other alumni for the continuous progress of the institution.
