The delegation, led by Professor Musa Emmanuel Umar, commended Dr. Awakan for his visionary leadership and impactful initiatives within the tourism sector. Professor Umar stated, “You are not just a political appointee but a practitioner in your own right. We consider NTDA a critical actor in this industry.”

The interactive session underscored the importance of strategic partnerships between policy institutions and implementing agencies.

NIPSS and NTDA expressed commitment to strengthening tourism development through informed policy formulation, institutional collaboration, and sustainable initiatives.

The visit marked a significant step towards fostering synergy between NIPSS and NTDA in advancing Nigeria’s tourism agenda.

The two institutions aim to develop actionable policy recommendations to promote Nigeria’s tourism potential on the global stage.

The engagement highlighted the shared commitment of NIPSS and NTDA to driving sustainable growth in Nigeria’s tourism sector.
