Parliamentarian joins in celebrating celebrating Okafor’s promotion

In a grand ceremony held at the DHQ Garrison, Mogadishu Cantonment, Abuja, Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, Member representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), played a pivotal role in decorating Captain IB Okafor with the esteemed rank of Major in the Nigerian Army.

According to the honorable member’s media office over the weekend, the promotion ceremony, attended by high-ranking dignitaries, military officials, and esteemed guests, was a colorful and significant occasion that celebrated Major Okafor’s remarkable achievement. Hon. Obika commended Major Okafor for his exceptional courage, unwavering dedication, and steadfast commitment to serving Nigeria.

In his remarks, Hon. Obika stated this: “Today, we do not just celebrate a promotion in rank, but we honor the values of duty, sacrifice, and patriotism that Major Okafor exemplifies.” He offered heartfelt prayers for continued divine guidance and protection over Major Okafor, asking for God’s blessing for further advancements in his career.

Hon. Obika also extended his gratitude to all members of the Armed Forces, praising their unwavering commitment to defending the nation’s sovereignty and dignity. The ceremony was a testament to Major Okafor’s hard work and dedication to the Nigerian Army.
