This prestigious honour is a testament to Offor’s unwavering commitment to philanthropy, nation-building, and empowering countless lives across Nigeria and beyond.

Offor’s legacy of service, integrity, and compassion continues to inspire leaders and citizens alike. His philanthropic efforts have made a significant impact, particularly in education. He has donated over $3 million to The Rotary Foundation, supporting key areas such as peace and conflict management, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and polio eradication. Additionally, his foundation has partnered with global organizations to promote human capacity development and economic empowerment in Nigeria.

The Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman, praised Offor’s contributions, stating that his efforts are an excellent example of well-used resources. Mamman encouraged others to emulate Offor’s philanthropic work, emphasizing that the government alone cannot finance education in Nigeria ².

Offor is a renowned business magnate, serving as the CEO of Chrome Group, a leading West African oil and gas conglomerate. He has received numerous awards, including the Vanguard Newspaper Award and honorary degrees from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Offor’s foundation has committed $5 million to The Rotary Foundation to expand and strengthen initiatives aimed at reducing maternal and neonatal mortality in high-need areas of Nigeria.

While congratulations Offor, Honourable Chinwe Nnabuife (Adaejiejemba) says: “Nigeria celebrates you, and Orumba stands proud of you.” This recognition serves as a reflection of Offor’s dedication to making a positive impact on humanity.
