Rousing Welcome As Festus Keyamo Resumes A Minister Of Aviation and Aerospace Development

 Says; “Transparency is my watch word”
President Bola Tinubu has sworn-in Festus Keyamo SAN CON, FCIArb, as Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development. The swearing-in event was held on Monday,21st  August,2023 at the banquet hall of the Presidential villa, Abuja.
Speaking at the reception in the Ministry, Festus Keyamo said, transparency, team spirit and selflessness is what can lead to the actualization of the mandate given to him by Mr. President for the Aviation Sector. He pledged continuity in the work that have been done in the Aviation Sector and improvement on the modus operandi.” I am people oriented, and my aim is to satisfy people’’. Keyamo stated.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the Directors and staff of the Ministry, Permanent Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Meribole expressed happiness and preparedness of staff to work with the Minister. ‘‘We know you are here to continue the good work of Mr President as concern the aviation sector and we assure you of our commitment to make sure we delivered our mandate’’
According to a statement by Odutayo Oluseyi, Head, Press and Public Affiars of the ministry, the Union Chairman, Hector Nnadi, in his brief remark expressed optimism that the Minister, following his track records and being a youth, full of energy, will perform well as the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace.
