Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance has come to the succor of the victims of flood in Mokwa, Niger State, by donating N50 million and several trucks of essential food supplies to support them.

In a press statement he signed by himself, the Senator who represents Niger East at the red chambers extended his deepest condolences to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, the people and Government of Niger State, and the Etsu Nupe, following the devastating floods that have claimed lives, displaced families, and disrupted livelihoods.

The Senator’s donation includes rice, millet, and maize, aimed at providing immediate sustenance to displaced and vulnerable members of the community. He commended the leadership and courage shown by Governor Bago, the Government of Niger State, and the emergency responders working tirelessly to bring relief to the affected population.

The Senator called upon fellow citizens, corporate bodies, and humanitarian organizations to contribute meaningfully to the recovery efforts. “In times of hardship, our shared humanity and unity are our greatest strengths,” he emphasized.

The Senator prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the people of Mokwa, guide the leadership of Niger State with wisdom, strengthen the affected families with patience, and restore peace and stability to the region. He also prayed for mercy for the departed souls and healing and hope for all.

Senator Mohammed Sani Musa’s donation is a testament to his commitment to supporting the people of his constituency in times of need.
