The State Overseer of Charismatic Bishop Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) Anambra State Archbishop Dr Mike Chukwudum has observed that the Governor of Anambra State Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has restored the hope of the people in the State in government services by bringing government force to bear on massive development services in various sectors all over the place in the State.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the CBCN Southeast Regional Synod holding today in Awka the Anambra State capital, Archbishop Chukwudum observed that Soludo has brought the force of government to bear in various sectors of governance most particularly on security, road construction, education, health, environmental sanitation and sanitized the transport system with a well organized traffic control.

According to him, “the system of things in Anambra is now under the control of government. Government is now in charge unlike before when there was total lack of orderliness as people behave the way like but now everything is in order. Anambra is sanitized. Security is now intact and road construction is escalated all over the State. Both private and commercial motorist now drive under strict traffic control and we now have a free flowing vehicular movement in Anambra State”

On the forthcoming governorship election in Anambra State, the Anambra CBCN leader who is also the President of Anambra Indigenous Pentecostal Ministers Association (AIPMA) said that he is looking up to God and in like manner many are also looking up to God over the election adding that the incumbent Governor Soludo is doing marvelously well and if God says he will continue for the next four years nobody can change it because the choice of leaders depends on God.

Asked to air his opinion on voters apathy that often trail governorship election in Anambra State the AIPMA President expressed the hope that the election will live up to expectations with massive turn out of voters if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other government angecies can emulate Governor Soludo to bring government force to bear in right manners in the conduct of the election.

He described the CBCN Synod as call for Men of God along with all preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to go back to drawing board and restore the mandate of the gospel of Jesus Christ with message of salvation, immortality, repentance and righteousness adding that the gospel is apparently losing its mandate owing to interest in material things by those who only preach prosperity and promoting get rich quick by all means in their Church.

He explained that the Theme of the Synod is Consolidation of Governance with crime prevention, security for all, promoting human rights and good image of the people assuring that the Synod will be used to offer more prayers on the present and future of Anambra State inline with the Theme of the Synod.

According to him the Governor of Anambra Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is expected as the Chief Guest of Honour. The Vice President of of CBCN Southeast zone Archbishop Professor Robert Imoh among other dignitaries are also expected to be attendance
