Technology Media (TM) Global announces the appointment of Amarachi Nwauwa as the Head of its multidisciplinary design studio, Design Teem.
With about a decade of experience in creative leadership and design strategy, Nwauwa combines her backgrounds in architecture and graphic design to create impactful solutions.
“Amarachi’s appointment is a pivotal moment for both Design Teem and TM Global,” stated Elijah Affi, Creative Director, TM Global.
Amarachi Nwauwa will guide the studio’s creative vision, mentor emerging talent, and enhance its global presence. She expressed excitement about leading Design Teem to showcase African creativity worldwide, reinforcing TM Global’s commitment to innovation in the tech and media landscape.
“Her expertise in leveraging design as a problem-solving tool aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver innovative solutions across diverse sectors globally.” Design Teem, formerly part of Takeout Media, has a proven track record of success, working with high-profile clients such as Cosgrove, TAJBank, UNDP, Nasarawa Investment summit and TotalEnergies.
Recent achievements include branding three number-one movies on Amazon Prime, one number-one movie on Netflix and leading the rebrand of the World Bank’s WASH project in Nigeria. As Design Lead, Nwauwa will spearhead Design Teem’s creative direction, mentor young talents, and further establish the strategic business unit as a global force in design and branding.
“I’m thrilled to lead Design Teem and contribute to TM Global’s vision,” said Nwauwa. “Together, we’ll continue to push the boundaries of design, nurture creative talent, and showcase African creativity on the global stage.
