The Principal Partner of Chinenye Chambers in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Amobi Nzelu Esq has urged Nigerians to not only use the Christmas period to come closer to God, but also build their relationship with the creator.

Nzelu addressed journalists on Tuesday in his chambers in the nation’s capital.

He said: “Christmas period is meant to commemorate Christ, the redeemer’s birth, behavior. This is a period of reflection and stock – taking. It is also a period where you should interoget yourself with respect to your, deeds and behavioral patterns, and above all, your relationship with God.

“Christ’s birth is a thing of joy and joyful mood shouldn’t possess satanic intake; that is to say, surrendering yourself to alcohol or doing anything that is fetish.
Christ’s birth brought peace to the entire world and urged the entire world to enhance peace and give peace a chance.”

He continued: “With respect to Nigeria, there is a need for us to put aside, any form of acrimony; come to terms with reality on ground and approach God for a lasting solution to the lingering problems in Nigeria.

“Psalm 121 says it all that: I will lift up my eyes unto the heavens, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from His Who created the heaven and earth. Anybody who lives outside God, lives outside dignity. The father you are away from God, the closer you are close to crises; choose the one you want. So my advice to you is that you come closer to God, to avoid crises.”

He concluded by adding: “Let us also use this period of Christ’s birth to pray for our country and leaders so that God will grant them divine directions in running Nigeria’s affairs.

“I wish everybody merry Christmas and prosperous New Year. The future is bright, don’t despair.”
