A Woman who had come to Abaji market in Abuja to buy grains for sale fainted after discovering that her money had been stolen.

Sources disclosed that the woman raised alarm after she dipped her hand inside her handbag and discovered that the money she came with her was not there.

According to the sources, “After the discovering that her money N335,009 was missing , she fainted. It was the quick intervention of some traders who brought sachet water and started pouring it on her that revived her.”

“The woman’s money must have been stolen by thieves that usually came to the market every five days to monitor people that came with huge amounts of money to buy foodstuffs.

“We suspect that there was someone that had been monitoring the woman when she was struggling to buy the grains and the person quietly removed the money from her bag. The sources revealed.

The sources advised people going to some markets on “Market Days” to be careful and make sure that their monies are kept safe from the preying eyes of pick pockets.
