Yobe: IMN Jubilate Release of Sheikh Ibrahim Zak-zaky’s International Passport

Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) have Tuesday in Potiskum town of Yobe State organized a grand reception to appreciate the release of the International Passport of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Zak-zaky by the federal government of Nigeria.

The ceremony which was performed at Faudiyya Islamic Center Potiskum attracted hundreds of followers who gathered to celebrate the long awaited thing.

Prayers and songs were offerd by Malam Saidu Sakafa. On his part, the Deputy Leader of the IMN in Potiskum, Malam Bala Afuwa thanked Allah for showing them this moment of happiness “we have been patiently waiting such a time when Malam Zak-zaky and his Wife would get such a freedom of traveling to seek for proper treatment, God has shown us today, they have been issued their respective passport, we’re indeed grateful for that.”

He added that “we gathered here for a reception (Walima) to thank God for the good treatment for Malam Zak-zaky where he was met at his Abuja residence and given passport.”
