2023 World Twins Festival Holds October 14 In Igbo-Ora

The 2023 edition of the World Twins Festival is scheduled to hold at the land of twins, Igbo-Ora, Oyo State, Nigeria.

According to the statement on Monday by the most famous twins in African Tourism and the Initiators of the festival, Ambassador Taiwo and Kehinde OGUNTOYE, this year is a special edition which will come with unique features encompassing the twins,cultural and community concepts.

The festival aimed at showcasing the multifunctional promotion of international twinning cultural heritance of Igbo-Ora which has the highest concentration of living multiple births in the world. An open event for twins, triplets, quadruplet and other multiple births with the families and love ones.

The statement also stated that this year World Twins Festival will have various activities in the week line up that will involve twins quiz and essay competitions among twins in secondary schools, a twins novelty football match among other.

The chairman of the festival working committee, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jamiu Adedamola Badmus, the Olu-Aso of Iberekodo has announced that this year twins festival will also create an opportunity on Friday 13th October where prominent sons and daughters of Igbo-Ora will be honoured with chieftaincy titles.

The Olu of Igbo-Ora, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye will lead other traditional rulers of the town to perform this honor.

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde who doubles as the Chief host of the festival is expected to welcome all participants to the grand finale which comes up on Saturday, 14th October at the festival arena, Methodist Grammar School Field, Igbo-Ora, Oyo State, Nigeria.

The statement further stated that the grand finale which is the Twins Pilgrimage day will feature twins talent show, twins fashion show, cooking contest, twins cuisines, display of some ageless twins statues , twins and cultural performances among others.

The annual festival which is available for sponsorship and brand representations is jointly organized by Twins World Creations (TWC Intercontinental) in conjunction with Igbo-Ora Community Foundation and the entire Igbo-Ora Community with the Oyo State Government.
