The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Senate Chamber of the National Assembly of Nigeria, Senator Victor Umeh OFR, (Ohamadike Ndigbo), has assured that he is solidly behind the Presidential candidate of Labour Party in 2023 general elections Mr Peter Obi’s bid to become the President of Nigeria via 2027 general elections under of the platform of African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Recall that Obi a former Governor of Anambra State has declared his intention to once more seek the mandate of Nigerians to become the President of the country christened Giant of Africa in 2027 general elections under the platform of ADC. Senator Umeh who spoke in Onitsha at the weekend during the Labour Party campaign flag off for the Nov 8, 2025 governorship election in Anambra State described Obi’s Presidential 2027 bid under ADC as good news that heightens the hope of Nigerians towards realizing the country of their dream.

The Ohamadike Ndigbo who as usual brought his outspokenness to bear also assured that even though he has followed Obi to join ADC he is solidly behind the candidate of the Labour Party in the Nov 8 governorship election in Anambra State Chief Dr George Moghalu (Ohamadike Nnewi) because according to him “Moghalu is such a good man that is needed to be at the helm of affairs of Anambra at the government house in Agu Awka”

Hear him “Our national leader, Mr Peter Obi has declared his intention to run for President in 2027 and I am fully in support of his intention. I will put my head, my hand and my leg and everything within my powers to support him because he is the best choice to lead Nigeria. Every well meaning Nigerian who is thinking of a better condition of life in Nigeria is thinking of Peter Obi because he has the character, the competence and capacity to address the challenges facing Nigeria”

Speaking further to rally support for the Labour Party to win the Anambra governorship election he added “Moghalu is a good man that’s why he is bearing Ohamadike like me, but he is Ohamadike Nnewi and I am Ohamadike Ndigbo. Today we have assembled as members and supporters of Labour Party with our national leader Mr Peter Obi to kick off campaign for the governorship election in November 8 and by the Grace of God we are going to win the election. Let’s go out there in our wards and polling booths to mobilize votes for him. I want to assure that I am available for the campaign”
