Force Commander decorates Nigerian Military Staff Officers with MNJTF Medals

The Force Commander, Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Maj Gen Ibrahim Sallau Ali has awarded outgoing Nigerian Military Staff Officers (MSO), MNJTF
medals, as part of his token of appreciation for their excellent military service and dedication to duty during their tour of duty at the MNJTF.

The Force Commander in a statement signed by Chief Military Public Information Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar Abdullahi, said, the medals were presented during a valedictory event on Friday, 26 April 2024 at the Headquarters of MNJTF in Ndjamena, Chad.

Gen Ali emphasized the invaluable experience gained by the officers during their tour of duty in a multinational environment.

He pointed out that working in such setup not only broadens one’s perspectives but also enhances professional growth and adaptability.

He said: “Experience is the best asset every officer could acquire. I urges you to continue to apply your positive experience wherever your careers might take you next”.

The MNJTF medal, the Force Commander said is a symbol of the officers hard-earned achievements.

He expressed his best wishes for their future endeavors, confident in their continued success and contribution to peace and security, wherever they may go.

Col Abdulaziz Ude, speaking on behalf of the outgoing MSOs, reflected on the supportive and enriching experience at the Headquarters of MNJTF.

He assured of their commitment to acting as proud ambassadors of the MNJTF, carrying forward the lessons and leadership insights gained under Gen Ali’s command.
