Kamnyeyachukwu Tagbo Okeke, a 15-year-old Nigerian grandson of the former Chairman, Police Service Commission (PSC), Chief Simon Okeke, (the Ochendo Amichi), has achieved a remarkable feat by breaking the Guinness World Record for painting on canvas. Despite being born with mild Autism spectrum, Kanye, as he is fondly called has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.

Kamnyeyachukwu created an impressive 12,303 square meters of canvas painting in just four months, surpassing the previous record of 9,560 square meters achieved in seven months.

The record-breaking painting will be officially unveiled to the world at the Eagle Square in Abuja on April 2, 2025, in a ceremony to be attended by the Presidency.

This achievement is not Kamnyeyachukwu’s first notable recognition. At the age of eight, he became the youngest and first black person to win the Flame of Peace Award in Vienna, Austria.

Kamnyeyachukwu’s remarkable talent has brought pride to his community, Amichi, Anambra, and Nigeria as a whole. His achievement serves as a testament to the potential that lies within individuals with disabilities.

The public is invited to witness the historic moment as Kamnyeyachukwu receives the coveted Guinness World Record certificate at the Eagle Square on April 2, 2025, starting from 10 am.
