The Nri community in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State should be agog with excitement as the ancient kingdom was said to have welcomed Senator Uche Lilian Ekwunife, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, this media organisation has gathered. Senator Ekwunife, the Deputy Governorship Candidate to Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu (Ikukuoma), the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate, was set to receive a warm reception from her people.

The Nri community has a special bond with Senator Ekwunife, having installed her as ANYANWU NRI (Sunshine of Nri Ancient Kingdom) in 2017. This gesture underscores the community’s appreciation for her efforts and contributions over the years.

The Ukachukwu-Ekwunife ticket has received the endorsement of President Bola Tinubu, who praised Senator Ekwunife’s selection as a superlative choice. This endorsement signifies the party’s confidence in the duo’s leadership abilities and their potential to deliver good governance to Anambra State.

Given Senator Ekwunife’s past interactions and contributions to the Nri community, her reception was expected to be warm and enthusiastic. The community’s appreciation for her efforts is evident in the slogan, “If You Go Anywhere With Uche:- YOU ARE SURE,” which reflects their trust and confidence in her leadership.

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s endorsement boosts the party’s confidence in the Ukachukwu-Ekwunife ticket. The Nri community’s warm reception is a testament to Senator Ekwunife’s popularity and goodwill in the area.

The would promise a grand celebration, showcasing the community’s appreciation for Senator Ekwunife’s dedication and service.
