In another development, the parliamentarian identified tribalism and ethnicity as the most significant challenges facing Nigeria. Honorable Chinedu Obika made this known when he was conferred with the prestigious “Moses Order of Merit” award by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), FCT Chapter.
Obika urged the Church to intensify prayers for Nigeria’s leaders, seeking divine guidance to reject the poisonous ideology of ethnic division. He also called on Nigerians to continue praying fervently for the nation’s peace, unity, and prosperity.
The award, a testament to Obika’s dedication to public service, recognizes his commitment to moral leadership and national unity.
