Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, the House of Representatives member representing AMAC and Bwari, was among FCT dignitaries who paid a thank-you visit to FCT Minister, His Excellency Bar. Nyesom Wike, yesterday, March 4, 2026.

The visit, which took place at Apo Hall, was hosted by the Chairman of the Abuja Municipal Area Council, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu. Hon. Obika was accompanied by Hon. Johnson Olatunde Ayo, a former chairmanship aspirant of the Labour Party in Bwari Area Council and currently the campaign chairman of Hon. Obika’s Solidarity Movement.

Other dignitaries in attendance included Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda and the Chairman-Elects from the six Area Councils of the FCT. The event was an opportunity for the FCT stakeholders to express their appreciation to Minister Wike for his efforts in developing the territory.

The gathering was a show of solidarity and support for the FCT Minister, with attendees praising his dedication to the development of the FCT. Hon. Johnson Olatunde Ayo, who spoke on behalf of the solidarity movement, commended Hon. Obika for his leadership and commitment to the people of AMAC and Bwari.

He also thanked Minister Wike for his vision and efforts in transforming the FCT. The FCT Minister, however, appreciated the stakeholders for their support and assured them of his continued commitment to the development of the territory.

The event was a significant gathering of FCT stakeholders, demonstrating their appreciation for the Minister’s work and commitment to the territory’s development. Hon. Obika and other stakeholders used the opportunity to reaffirm their support for the FCT Minister.

The visit was seen as a boost to the Minister’s efforts to drive development in the FCT, with stakeholders expressing their confidence in his leadership. The event ended on a high note, with attendees expressing optimism about the future of the FCT under Minister Wike’s leadership.

The solidarity movement of Hon. Obika reaffirmed its support for the FCT Minister, pledging to continue working with him to ensure the development of the AMAC and Bwari Federal Constituency.
