The Convener of the Benin Summit Group (BSG), Earl Osaro Onaiwu, is set to host a special dinner for Benins residing in Abuja as part of efforts to strengthen unity, deepen cultural ties, and promote greater interaction among members of the Benin community in the Federal Capital Territory.

The event, themed “Benins in Abuja Meet & Greet,” is scheduled to hold tonight and is expected to bring together sons and daughters of the Benin Kingdom from diverse professional, business, and public service backgrounds.

According to Onaiwu, the gathering is designed to provide a platform for Benins in Abuja to reconnect, build stronger relationships, and collectively explore opportunities for community development and mutual support.

He said the initiative is also aimed at fostering closer bonds among members of the community while encouraging meaningful engagement and collaboration.

The dinner will feature an evening of fellowship, networking, and cultural celebration, reflecting the commitment of the Benin Summit Group to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Benin people.

The group noted that the event aligns with its broader objective of promoting unity and collaboration among Benins across Nigeria and in the diaspora.

The gathering is expected to attract community leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, youth representatives, and friends of the Benin Kingdom.

According to a statement signed by the Benin Summit Group (BSG), in Abuja, the dinner underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen communal ties and create opportunities for sustained engagement among Benins living outside their ancestral homeland.
